I am not a user BUT I have an older brother who has been using for years. I heard an ad the other day for this campaign and decided to go to this site. I have learned so much from this site and all the stories on here. I have read every one of the testimonials and I have to tell you, I have literally been brought to tears. See�my brother has been using for years. He has put himself and our family through so much pain adn sorrow. He's been in at least 7 rehab programs over the last 10yrs, ranging from 6mo to 1yr. Each time he cleans up for a while and we get to enjoy the "real him" again. We re-establish our relationship, and let him back into our lives. He's an amazing person (so kind hearted...the kind of person that would give you his shirt right off his back) BUT before we can ever see it coming...BOOM!!! He's back to his old ways; stealing from us, selling everything he owns, loosing his jobs and ultimately homeless...not to mention he goes "A" wall and we can't find him until he resurfaces. We have gone looking for him countless times and I have to say, this final time our family said NO MORE! My parents are done and (and as hard as it is) have basically shut him out. However, I can't do that! I care about him so much and I don't know when "enough is really enough" when it comes to family. I know we can't enable him...but what can I do to help that doesn't hurt (if you know what I mean)?

After reading the stories here...I know I can't give up on him. I have sent this link to our entire family and decided we needed to rally...AGAIN!

Thank you to the brave soles that have gone through hell and back and lived to tell your stories, so that others (like me) are inspired not to give up on those who are still suffering.
