"Clearly, Georgia is being killed ...We're on our knees right now."

Edward Kubo Jr.
US Attorney, State of Georgia

Age: 24
Gender: female

I tried Meth for the fisrt time at age 18 with my best friend, Laura. Our intial plan was to go over to a girlfriends house and drink, but when we got there, she had a guy over we have never met before. Well, as were were getting ready to make our drinks, he pulls out a bag of white (powder like substance), i asked if it was cocaine, and he said no, it's "Ice." I had an idea what it was, but i didn't know all the effects and damages it could really do, cause it wasn't as big then as it is now. Or at least i thought. We did so much Meth that night, i am surprised i live through that. We smoked it, ate it, hot railed it, and snorted it. When i came down, i have never felt so much pain in my life! It was excruciating!!! But after that, i keep doing it almost everyday. I think i would quit for a month or two but be right back where i was. I was so bad one night, after being up for over a week. I hallucinated so badly, thought people were on my roof of my home running, thought people were outside my home watching me, and thought people were talking about me, cause i would hear voices in my head. I went crazy!! Not to mention the 7 men i sleep with, and soon caught an STD, that is now permanent. You wish you could take things back, only when it's too late, and things get out of control. I no longer talk to anyone i ever did Meth with. Most of them never stopped. My best friend, Sarah is the only one that came out of all that like i did. She now goes to school, and lives a clean happy life. But i quit at the age of 20, and have been clean now for 4 years. Happily married now with two babies. So, i hope that if any users read this, they know there is a way out, and it is POSSIBLE to kill the addiction!
