Our Work

Community Action

In addition to its public awareness campaign, the Georgia Meth Project mobilizes community groups throughout the state to spearhead education and prevention efforts to reduce methamphetamine use among Georgia's youth. The Georgia Meth Project's ongoing community action and outreach programs have been a catalyst for teen involvement. Throughout the year, the Georgia Meth Project organizes community events and conducts school and community presentations across the state.

Community Outreach

The Georgia Meth Project's community outreach consists of presentations at schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA's, County Recreation Centers, and other organizations, as well as participation in local events like county fairs, teen health fairs, and community festivals. Each year the Georgia Meth Project presents in more than 100 schools, directly reaching thousands of teens across the state.
